What to Do When You Are Jobless and Broke
It's hard to always have to worry about money. Being broke is not an enjoyable life and it's not an easy ordeal. It means that you have to always find a way to find something just to be able to have food every day. Not having anything to eat is also the hardest. How can you even think of what to do next if your stomach is hitting from not eating?
Although you have the skills and talent to get a job, the problem is still money. How can you go to work every day without paying the fare? Of course, you also need to eat since you're using all your energy to make money. The problem is, that you have to wait for a few weeks before finally receiving your hard-earned cash. Then you have to do it again.
Humans are the only creature on this planet who needs to pay for everything. We all have to work to make a living. While the animals are even becoming pets. They love rent-free and waiting for free. How can we call ourselves superior beings if we can't live without money? It's hard to think about that logic but we don't have a choice.
A lot of people are starving which pushes them to commit crimes. When they get caught, that's the only time they can live and eat without paying. Prison may not be as bad as the government wanted it to think. Inside, you don't have to work just to be able to eat. You will have a roof above your head but it's not an ideal condition. Although sometimes, considering it is not a crime.
What to Do When You Are Jobless and Broke
Being jobless and broke should only be a temporary setup. It will not last for a long time if you try doing something about it. As long as you have the skill and talent, poverty should not affect you too much. Although it's hard to go through with it, somehow you will get out of your current situation. Here's what you can do to keep on surviving and have a better life in the end.
1. Ask for Help
It's normal to ask for help since you need help. If you have some friendships in the past, you can ask them to help you put. It's better to ask your friends for help than your relatives. Believe me, friends are willing to help you more than your cousins. They might even let you stay in their home for a while.
If you don't have meaningful friendships, ask for help from the government. It might be your best bet to get back on your feet. They have programs to help unemployed people to start all over again. If you're in the Philippines, good luck with that! Well, there's DSWD but it's harder to get help from them.
2. Sell Anything
If you have things that you no longer need, sell them online. Many people are looking for second-hand items. They are also trying to combat poverty by buying cheap items. If you're too broke to function, it's best to sell your collection or even your good clothes. There's no need to have pretty dresses if you can't go anywhere with them.
When a friend helps you and gives you some cash, buy some stuff to sell. That's the best way to stretch that money and start a small business. It's best to do it online so you don't have to pay rent for a physical store. Sell stuff on Facebook or other social media platforms. It's your best bet to earn money.

Whether we admit it or not, money makes the world go round. It can also buy happiness. Whoever said them otherwise is lying. They just want to avoid jealousy from poor people.
