Why I Started Writing Novels
My untamed imagination—a force that appears to awaken with greater energy when the world slows down—is the reason I began writing novels. Night after night, my mind is filled with vivid scenes, complex characters, and endless "what if" scenarios, all vying for my attention. Instead of resting, I am putting together fragments of ideas and weaving them into stories that feel as real as the world outside my window.
At first, the constant stream of thoughts seemed overwhelming. I would lie awake for hours, replaying the same scenes in my head, attempting to find a resolution for the characters I would imagined or a way to conclude the story they appeared to be telling. I eventually realized that writing was the only way to clear my mind. By putting pen to paper, I was able to give these restless thoughts life—a life that existed independently of me.
Writing evolved into more than just a coping mechanism for my insomnia. It became a way to explore the depths of my imagination, to give shape to the chaos within me. Each novel I write is a reflection of the worlds I have created in my head, an opportunity for others to visit the places I have been and meet the characters who have kept me company during quiet hours.
Storytelling is a passion for me as well as a necessity. It is a way to bring order to the chaos, to turn the never-ending stream of ideas into something meaningful. My wild imagination is no longer a burden; it is a gift that I have learned to appreciate through the art of writing.
I hope you will experience it first hand by reading my stories.
Enjoy!
